A team of parishioners from Holy Family, Mills River planned, prepared, and served an Italian dinner that was attended by 70 people.
Attendees were treated to a wonderful evening of good food, music, and fellowship. As the event concluded and all the proceeds were tallied, $3,000 had been taken in.
This money will be donated to Mills River Elementary School, a Title 1 school that serves many low-income children who have a variety of unmet needs such as glasses, clothing, and food.
